Victor von Doom is the monarch of Latveria, a small nation in Europe. He was schooled in sorcery and is a scientific genius, and he waged a one-man war against the monarchy of Latveria before claiming the crown for himself. He then set his sights on conquering the world, but he first had to overcome Super Heroes such as the X-Men and his archenemies the Fantastic Four. While struggling against the Super Heroes, Dr. Doom became the ruler of Counter Earth.
