James Howlett is a mutant whose skeleton includes six retractable foot-long claws in his forearms. A strong and ferocious character, he joined the X-Men. Under the watchful eye of Professor Xavier, he and other mutants were trained to use their unusual powers for the betterment of mankind.  His many careers include working as a soldier and a spy, and he is trained to bring evil-doers to justice through the use of firearms and weapons such as daggers and swords.
